Last week, Geveko Markings Denmark received the Environmental certificate from Environmental Forum Funen, again.
In order to receive it, we continuesly work on improving our environmental work. It is an integrated part of our management system, and the principals of Environmental Forum are similar to ISO 14001 and EMAS.
This year we have specifically worked hard on:
- Reducing our CO2 from buying green energy from local wind mills
- Implementing other alternative and sustainable energy sources
- Optimised our waste management - for instance by establishing an environmental station and focused on making the production more effective, while at the same time reducing the energy consumption.
